"Climate: Minutes to Midnight?" presented by Common Ground with Jane Whitney

Sun September 10, 3:00 pm
This is the 3rd episode of the season for political talk show Common Ground with Jane Whitney. A panel analyses how climate change plays in our elections and our responsibilities as private citizens.
Join us and local environmental organizations as we welcome Ben Jealous, Dr. Britt Wray, Ian Bremmer, Katharine Hayhoe, and Michael Mann to explore the gaping dichotomy between what scientists say needs to be done to moderate an impending disaster and the political reality of what is possible. In our largest community event of the season, we are thrilled to partner with like minded organizations to create a celebration that furthers discussion and collaboration around one of the most critical challenges of our time. Doors open at The Frederick Gunn School at 3 pm. Organizations will have tables and materials set up in the lobby with information on the unique impacts of climate change on our local community. Don’t miss the chance to mingle with passionate leadership and learn about all the work happening on the front lines to protect what is not yet lost and prepare for the future ahead.
